Does MUBI display content warnings ahead of a film playing?

We display warnings for potentially disturbing content across all platforms. Warnings are included on any new titles that come to the platform, and we aim to complete the audit of all titles available on MUBI as soon as possible. We will provide warnings before a film plays if it contains images or dialogue referring to one or more of the following:

• Animal Cruelty
• Domestic Violence
• Graphic Sexual Content
• Sexual Assault or Rape
• Strobe Lighting
• Suicide or Self Harm
• Discriminatory Language

We do not include warnings for nudity, bad language, violence, horror imagery or other potentially disturbing images. Please see the film's Guidance Level for further information on whether a film is suitable for certain age groups.
